Periphery The Coachfire Chronicles

When I was working media with the magazine I got to spend time on a few occasions with Misha Mansoor.  It’s been really cool to watch Periphery get to where they are now.  The first time I saw them live they had just picked up their singer, started their tour and were in Des Moines, IA all crammed in a 15 passenger van basically scraping by.   But when you saw them live you knew that this was a group of players that could have a sustained amount of success with just the progressive fans alone.

So Jeff Holcomb who filled in with them and I think helped with merch for a bit documented some of their overseas tour with Between the Buried and Me as well as The Safety Fire.  The clip runs 42 minutes and chance and is named The Coachfire Chronicles.  Which was named after their bus the burnt up toward the end of the tour.

Check it out and love what they do!!
